Create and save

Create config

Create a named file before you touch sliders. Use names you will read at 2 a.m.: pvp-quiet, bunker-pve, coast-vehicles. Do not call everything new1.

Save config

Save after every change that worked. A good player ESP distance or a FOV radius is easy to lose if you die and panic-click.

Keep at least three saves: quiet PvP, loot with item ESP, and vehicles for rotations. That split matches how the island is actually played.

Load, delete, and when to swap

Load config

Load before you enter the POI, not in the doorway. Swap to loot in the armory. Swap to PvP when names start stacking. Swap to vehicle ESP when you leave town.

Delete config

Delete files that still use old FOV or max render distance. After a BattlEye rebuild, load a known-good save, then delete the junk so you do not click the wrong one.

How many configs do I actually need?

Three is enough: PvP, loot, and travel. Add a puppet-bunker file if you raid abandoned bunkers a lot.

Will a config survive a game patch?

Usually yes. After a BattlEye update, wait for Status, launch with Setup, then load the file. Do not rebuild from memory first.

Should I share one config with a teammate?

You can share the file. Their mouse and FOV still need a pass. Copy ESP categories, then retune smoothness.

When should I delete a config?

When it still has max distance, huge FOV, or risk toggles you no longer use. Old files get clicked in a panic.

Does loading a config turn on risk options?

Only if you saved them that way. Keep a no-risk PvP file so a misclick does not load no recoil in a town fight.
